I posted a few months that Madelyn did a photo shoot for a Target add, which came out today, check out page 17! We appreciate our neighbor dropping off a copy of the add for us yesterday - it is a lot of fun to see the end product :)
How cute is that?! I just found out the other day that a neighbor of ours was in the Black Friday ad. Makes me think that I should pay more attention to the Target ads. Who knows who I might see!
I love it! We showed it to Berean and the boys. The boys recognized her, but didn't want to look because "even though we know her, we don't like to look at the pink pages". Berean was quite interested and there looked to be some recognition on her face and in what she was trying to tell us. Do you want our copy, or do you have enough?
Julie - We would love some extra copies of the add, I am sure we have family members who would like a copy and I don't know how many I can keep picking up from the Target by my work...
Jackie - There were two stylists who chose Madelyn's clothes, they had them at the shoot for her. They had a few options and different sizes, but they had it all there. There was a separate hair/makeup person who picked out her hair accessories :) The shirt that she wore during the shoot was cream colored - it looks like it has been re-colored in the photo editing. We got to keep the tights, but later when the skirt was on sale at Target I went and bought it because I thought it was cute (and it was like $3).
I distinctly remember looking through department store magazines at Christmas time. The "pink" pages were always TABOO...your boys are definitely correct!
